Details
This piece is for the Portuguese-Catholic family carrying Fátima across generations; for the Marian devotee who prays the daily Rosary; for anyone tired of choosing between faith and football. Wear it to the watch party. Wear it to Mass on May 13. Wear it walking the dog in the cool of the evening.
This shirt funds her work, not ours. 100% of profits from every 99 Sheep Co. piece are donated to three causes: training Dominican priests, housing religious sisters, and saving the lives of babies who might not otherwise be born. No marketing budgets. No founder salary. Every cotton tee that leaves our hands becomes a small offering toward forming clergy, sheltering nuns, and supporting mothers in crisis.
In May 1917, three Portuguese shepherd children — Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta Marto — saw the Mother of God in a field at Cova da Iria, outside the village of Fátima. They were nine, eight, and seven years old. Over a century later, the Sanctuary of Fátima draws more than four million pilgrims a year, and Portuguese Catholics carry Our Lady of Fátima from Lisbon to São Paulo to Newark to Perth — into every corner of life, including the pitch.
The shirt itself is built on lightweight 4.2 oz Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton — soft enough to feel familiar by the second wash, structured enough to hold its shape through a hundred more. Printed to order in the United States. No slave labor anywhere in the supply chain. REACH-certified inks, Fair Labor Association and WRAP-standard production lines, ethically managed dye houses. Sleeve and neck graphics are rendered in DTF or DTG with crisp lines that survive normal wear and family laundry. Retail fit, ribbed crew collar, side-seam construction.
